My morning window

I use my laptop in the dining room. Our basement office is where the PC (server) lives and all the other stuff (printer/scanner/fax, files, games, tv) we need to maintain our family office. It's dark in there and the lighting is awful. I am eager to move to our new home soon but until then the dining room has been my office. I position myself opposite our sliding glass door so that I can watch the world.

It makes spacing out (for brainstorming) so much the better. The birds and squirrels are usually busy in our yard looking for food. I can watch birds for hours. The deliberate way they move and the ease of which they go about tasks motivates me to be efficient. Now the carrying out of that motivation is quite another thing.
