Iconic movie of our generation

Keith and I watched the trailer for the new movie Superbad sure that'll be funny and all but is the hype capable to hold true to its worth? Is it really that funny? Could it be funnier than Napoleon Dynamite?

Then we began to talk about what our iconic movie would be. What is it? The one that gets the most quoted phrases? The most laughs, recurring laughs?

Then Keith says "What was that one, you know, Feuless Berler or something?" Yeah, that's a good one. You movie buffs out there will know it as Ferris Bueller.

I began to put together a list of movies, there are loads of wacky ones, here are some ideas. At my house the movie So I Married an Axe Murderer is quoted weekly, yes, yes we are that lame. But can you refuse the humor of "HEED! Move!" or "That boy's head is like Sputnik" or "We have a piper down, I repeat, a piper is down". The other favored movie in our house is Grosse Pointe Blank.

Heathers
Reality Bites
Dazed and Confused
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
Pretty in Pink
Desperately Seeking Susan
Animal House
Airplane!
PCU
Better Off Dead
Sixteen Candles
Wayne's World

I ask you what is the iconic movie of your generation?
