We need this kind of thinking

I like most everyone I'm sure have been watching the news with constant concern. There is going to be hard times for us all ahead. I've been thinking, thinking a lot. We are looking for more ways to conserve and are not planning on any more travel than family visits. I suspect many of us are thinking these thinks.Because we all need to think of the brighter side I thought I'd share with you the lyrics of one of my favorite singers, June Carter Cash. She was an amazing woman with such a poetic style it's no wonder she and Johnny got together. I have been listening to her music for a long time and have been humming this to myself all week. I nearly have the girls singing with me too. Come on, sing with me, you know you want to. There. That's it. I hear you.

Keep on the Sunny Side
June Carter Cash

Well, there’s a dark and a troubled side of life
There’s a bright and a sunny side too
But if you meet with the darkness and strife
The sunny side we also may view

Chorus:
Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side
Keep on the sunny side of life
It will help us everyday, it will brighten all the way
If we’ll keep on the sunny side of life

Through the storm and its fury broke today
Crushing hopes that I’ve cherish so dear
Clouds and storms in time will pass away
The sun again will shine bright and clear

Chorus:
Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side
Keep on the sunny side of life
It will help us everyday, it will brighten all the way
If we’ll keep on the sunny side of life

Let us greet with a song of hope each day
Though the moments be cloudy or fair
Let us trust in our Savior always
To keep us everyone in His care

Chorus:
Keep on the sunny side, always on the sunny side
Keep on the sunny side of life
It will help us everyday, it will brighten all the way
If we’ll keep on the sunny side of life

If we’ll keep on the sunny side of life
