This week I have learned that.....

Somehow Christmas always sneaks up on me and I never seem to get it all done.

All those things I thought I had to do were never that important.

The annual Christmas cookie making is worth the long hours spent making those traditional favorites.

I'll end up going to 3 stores on Christmas Eve to find corn flakes. Corn flakes!

A good babysitter is one who comes by your house Christmas Eve to bring your children gifts just because that's what she does for all the kids she sits. And I better hang on to her for sure.

Tamales on Christmas Eve = yummy.

Watching my children see the tree Christmas morning is a wonderful moment.

Having the "traditional" breakfast quiche Christmas morning will result in mild controversy.

Being with family is what I love most.
