Lessons

This week I have learned that.......

Visiting George Washington's house is super fun when you are 6 years old. So much to do and see. (BTW the new museum is nice, we'll be going back very soon.)

On field trips I am all about getting the most done, we will walk/run to see it all, that is the point of going there. I will not dawdle.

It's not fun to be a chaperone when the parent of a child in your group comes along (meets you there) with a whiny 4 year old. Seriously, save the family trip for another time.

I dig me a good Fat Tuesday party. Too bad there were none to be had here.

Taking care of a sick husband is not easy.

De-tox duty is not my idea of a good time. So many bathrooms, laundry, etc.

Hey where did this month go?

I love these lessons. You say a lot of the things I see going on in my own life (although I did not get to do a Fat Tuesday party). I do take my 2yo on field trips, since it's the only way I could get to go on my 6yo's trips, but my youngest knows she either behaves or I drag her around all day by the ear!
