This week I have learned that.....

If it rains hard enough that rain will wash away the mulch surrounding my veggie garden.

All the trees we planted a month ago will be in need of saving from: canker, fungus, pests and a mysterious something.

A dead looking red bud tree is much harder to save than I'd expect. And no, Mr. Arbor guy I'm not bringing in another branch, it already has too few to spare, only for you to tell me "I dunno what's killing it".

Washing tissues really makes me grumpy.

I should not let the ironing pile get bigger than me before staring on it at 9pm.
