Nifty Ideas: Christmas

I love how this Santa Key idea began. Ours was given to us by a friend the year we moved into this (our newish) house. Our first home had a wood burning fireplace this home has a gas fireplace. So as you can imagine that was a small issue with our Santa experts. Bronner's Santa Key is very nice and priced low. Chinaberry has a pretty one that's a little pricey. This one by Cattales on Etsy is sold out but is very cute. Hallmark has one every year that are very popular.
Our tree has to have the pickle ornament hidden on Christmas Eve. The first child to find the pickle gets a small gift. We got this ornament for our first Christmas together so that we could share in my husband's family's tradition. The detailed story of this tradition is here.
