Being clean is too expensive
The girls asked me what I wanted for Christmas the other day. I hardly think about things I want so I had a hard time coming up with ideas. I knew that they were looking for hints for Keith too, although he is pretty excellent at coming up with great ideas.
I thought a moment and told them I wanted girls who will clean up after themselves and be willing to do tasks without being told repeatedly to do them.
Both responded "Awwww, Mom. We can't give you that!"
I pointed out that what I want is free.
Olivia summed up the answer: "Yeah, but that's too hard for us to do EVERY day."
And I thought I what I requested would be easy for them to afford!
