Another Sweater

I've been getting my sweater mojo on this winter. I don't know what it is but I am really digging on making these little sweaters. I began another sweater for Adelynn. Since her kimono was a fail (pattern fail) I want to find a good pattern to make something beautiful for my girls. After searching around I decided that making a Tiny Tea Leaves cardigan is the way to go. When I saw this pattern for the first time I knew it was the one for Leah. All the reviews point to this being a true gem. A new pattern for garments means that a test go is required.

For my test run I am making this sweater in the smallest size, a 2, which will allow me to see how easy it is to complete. According the pattern Leah will need 2 sizes smaller than her actual clothing size! Based on measurements it is a generous sized sweater for my petite gals. Not a problem. I like that I can make a smaller size and add the length for Leah. I'm not sure if I will make these with the 3/4 length sleeves or go for a cute cap sleeve. We'll see how it goes.

If all goes well I will be making this same sweater for Leah in a yellow. I love knitting this sweater so far. It's easy and fun to make. The Madeline Tosh Vintage yarn is fab too. I'm looking forward to finishing this smallest sweater for my tiniest girl.
