Lessons

This week I have learned that......

I am thankful for my best loves and the fine table we sat around feasting yesterday.

Preparing for a quiet holiday meal is so much easier than I thought.

You can make too much gravy. 2 quarts is too much for our family.

My kids have no idea how awesome Thanksgiving food is to eat. What is with their anti-stuffing attitude?

3 pies are required for this family.

Figs and cranberries simmered with Brandy make a fantastic sauce.

Spending the day reducing our stuff instead of participating in the Black Friday craziness is a better tradition.
