Naja Hat

After all these years of having this gorgeous turquoise yarn from Luna Grey Yarn I have made something delightful. I used this yarn to knit the Naja hat by Lene Holme Samsøe. A chunky beret style hat that was knit up quickly. I made this hat previously using a tweed. This pattern is one that I can never tire from. It makes such a beautiful hat in any yarn. The yarn I used is the discontinued Bellona (60% Merino wool 40% silk) in colorway Poseidon. I bought the yarn years ago based on its beautiful color and description. A silk blend is amazing. This yarn is so fantastic to knit with that I can’t believe I waited so long to use this yarn. Decadent is a good description. What was I thinking!? Every skein I have purchased from Jackie has been beyond wonderful. If you haven’t seen her yarn I highly recommend you pop on over to her site. Be prepared to be wooed by the gorgeousness!
